Check what hardware raid is using

We are using Ubuntu16, can you please advise how to check what hardware raid ( eg. RAID 0 , 1 , 5 ... ) is the server.

Few more system info:

Model name: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2420 v2 @ 2.20GHz
Architecture: x86_64
Storage: MegaRAID SAS 2008 [Falcon]
Memory: 31GiB System memory

Thanks,

When it comes to hardware RAID, usually end out having to use propriety software to check them unfortunately. There are several companies that call their RAID MegaRAID I believe (LSI, Broadcom, Intel), so you'd need to check which yours is and get the relevant software from the manufacturer site.

Alternatively, you'd have to reboot the server and check during boot in the Raid utility.

I'd reboot the server (if possible) and go into the MegaRaid software and have a look at the configuration. there would be an F-key to press to get in the SAS Raid configuration utility, like F12 or something.

The reboot ought to get you to a raid bios to access it.

Wonder also if this may work. megacli package
