Angry Changing screen resolution

Happy New Year.

Can anybody tell me how to change the screen resolution. At the moment everything is much too large so nothing fits onto the screen correctly.

Also is it safe to put the Linux on the same computer that has Windows XP installed. I have two 80gb hard drives so in theory I could have them on different drives but reading the manuals it looks as though Linux does not recognise drives

its actually Xconfigurator with a capital X, cause Linux is case sensitive.. just so there's no confusion, but it also depends on your distro.. Xconfigurator is almost Redhat specific... what distro are you using and someone here can give you better details ??
