Change from Slackware current to 15 (when available)

I am hoping to run Slackware current now, then change to stable (15) when it becomes available. Is it as simple as changing the version in /etc/slackpkg/mirrors and the version number in /etc/slackware-version/ or are there other things to be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

When 15 happens, 15 and -current will be the same thing for a brief time, so if you're up to date on -current as of the change to 15 you should just be able to change your slackpkg mirror to 15 (I believe /etc/slackware-version will reflect the new version automatically). I'd imagine you'd want to do that ASAP without performing any -current upgrades past the one that qualifies as 15...that's just an assumption, but logically makes sense to not do any -current upgrades past that since you'd be ahead of the packages included in 15.
