Change Default Browser

Runnin Fedora Core 2.

Does anybody know how to change the default browser for Linux so that when I click on a link it'll open Firefox instead of Mozilla? For that matter does anybody know how to change the default email program so when i click on an email adress it opens Thunderbird?

Thanks

You are talking mozilla-mozilla here, are you sure you don't wan't to use mozilla for browsing and still use it for mail?

That's beyond my present knowledge.

I am afraid you are going to have to hack your browser code to make it call up the mozilla mail part. How much programing experience do you have?

# Common e-mail tools
sendmail - postfix - sends mail to local users (and internet when configured correctly)
fetchmail - gets mail from internet accounts (non-Hotmail type)
procmail - sorts and delivers into separate mailboxes

To open up thunderbird from within firefox you'll have to download an extension from the Mozilla Firefox site.

To change your default browser it is determined by your desktop. Try the Control Center for the desktop or right-click a link and you may be able to change it from there.
