CentOS-Asterisk- /var/spool/asterisk/monitor How to decipher who's call is who's?

Hello I am having a hard time pulling recorded calls for specific extensions.

outbound calls are easy because it is formatted OUT2219 <-- and that is the extension. Inbound calls and Q calls are another matter as they are formatted Q???-20091117-090922-130852-1256843331.81415.wav the first 2 I understand the date 20091117 and the time 090922, but the rest is a mystery??

Any Idea how I can start sorting these recorded calls?

I am still surfing the net for answers, I will check back later.

Thank you.

You can go into the asterisk mysql database and do a cdr query
personnaly you need a call recording interface that can do this for you, we have written our own one which works very nicely.

i think the asterisk gui has an interface to do this

Don't know if I'm ressurecting an old thread here...

If you didn't sort this out, by default, calls are logged into the /var/log/cdr-csv/master.csv

this file has loads of info on each call, including the Unique ID, which happens to be the same as the filename in the call logs.

Of course, if you have configured CDR for anywhere else, it'll be there too!
