..cdrom does not see .zip files

I just burn driver in .zip format on cd for wirless network card that i want to install in Linux(RH 7.2, not config to access Internet). The linux box(cd-rom) does not see .zip files or drivers. It sees rest of the tar, .gz, rpm on the same cd but not .zip files. In windows i can sees all of the files or packages on cd. I get another Linux box (RH 7.2) and it has the same thing - can not see .zip files on CD. Also in fstab file under image type for CD drive is ISO966... Should i change that? ..or there is some thing alse?

What do you mean by you cant see the files?
Are you using a file manager or the console ?
What program are you using to open these files?

Try opening them with 'ark'

Just type 'ark' in the command line and a progam like winzip will come up. You will then be able to browse and select your zip file and open it.
