cant update my system


i cant update system i.e ubuntu 10.10 of my laptop sony vaio cr22g/b ..as i encounter following as "untrusted package" .

Hello,

This doesn't really tell us anything.... What is giving you this error? What are you trying to update? A certain package, or anything in general? Are you trying to update via the GUI package manager, or CLI?

thanx for eagerness to help... Actually i was trying to update (in general) usins update manager, then it ask password then says like source are from untrusted package..But earlier i used to update the system same way. It says same thing from downloading vis ubuntu software center..
