I am unable to login to my comp.....I am running on Slackware linux....
I get the following error...and it repeats every 5 mins....

i was able to login normally from the login prompt earlier.....then i tried to autologin.....for that i did the following....
1. created a C file autologin.c

execlp("login","login","-f","userid",0);
}
2. compiled the C program and copied the executable 'autologin' to /usr/local/sbin
3. modified inittab

I need to start my comp and change inittab...how do i do this?
pls advice...
