[SOLVED] Can we do network login to a vm in single user mode

Can we do network login to a vm in single user mode
hello guys,
Im working on a vm using putty and accidentally i gave init1. Then i was not able to connect to that vm through putty. I wonder why, is that because of single user mode and is there any limitations on single user mode.....
Distribution: Currently: OpenMandriva. Previously: openSUSE, PCLinuxOS, CentOS, among others over the years.
