Hi,
I have a AMD Radeon HD 4350 Graphics card and I am trying to install its driver.
I installed the driver but at the end it gives this error :
Code:
Check if system has the tools required for installation.
Uninstalling any previously installed drivers.
Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/fglrx/8.97.100.7/source ->
/usr/src/fglrx-8.97.100.7

cd /var/lib/dkms/fglrx/8.97.100.7/build; sh make.sh --nohints --uname_r=5.10.0-8-amd64 --norootcheck...(bad exit status: 1)
[Error] Kernel Module : Failed to build fglrx-8.97.100.7 with DKMS
[Error] Kernel Module : Removing fglrx-8.97.100.7 from DKMS
[Reboot] Kernel Module : update-initramfs
What I checked that, there are folders in /usr/src/fglrx-8.97.100.7/ which is linked as source. My question is this, program failed to build kernel module. Can I continue and build that from where it remained? I asked since I noticed that it uses DKMS(Dynamic Kernel Module Support). Maybe I can manage to rebuild it myself.
For clearing up my question;
1. can I run
sudo sh make.sh --nohints --uname_r=5.10.0-8-amd64 manually to build a module called
fglrx-8.97.100.7
2. and then load it into kernel by update-iniframfs by
sudo modprobe fglrx-8.97.100.7 ?
Thanks.
