Well, I got hold on a spare harddrive and I installed Red hat 9 on it as the modem is supposed to work with it. I followed the instructions that came with the driver (altough they are quite hard to understand). I ran the installscript but the modem does not seem to work.
Here is the /sbin/lspci:

This is probably a better bet... someone did make a driver:

Cheers,

Well thanks for the link but i can´t get the drivers to compile correct, i get "error 1" and "error 2", I am sure that you have to do something diffrent with red hat/fedora as there are a link on that page that should lead to "Conexant PCI ADSL modem installation guide for RedHat and Fedora systems" - too bad that the site does not contain that guide. I would post the make and make install log but it is 7 pages long, a wee bit too long to post here

Most likely, you do not have your kernel source installed, its going to need that, check to see if there's anything under /usr/src, also, what comes after error[1]?

I am sure that I had the source before trying to use "make" and "make install"
i got the source off the fedora core 2 cd and it is in /usr/src/linux(versionnumber)

make[3]: *** [aread] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/pharcae/linux-atm-2.4.0/src/test'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/pharcae/linux-atm-2.4.0/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pharcae/linux-atm-2.4.0'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

Then it returns to the promt.
