can't open crontab on Solaris


Hi,

using Solaris, I can't open crontab. Any idea ? Thanks.

This is what I did so for...

Code:
# crontab -e
566

?
q
The crontab file was not changed.
I did do this
set -o vi
set TERM=vt100; export TERM
Code:
# echo $TERM
vt100
# echo $SHELL
/sbin/sh

Hi,

You can use (for bash or ksh shells):
Code:
EDITOR=vi
export EDITOR
and then run crontab -e to edit your crontab
