Exclamation Calculating age of person in days


Hi guys

Im new to linux and im coding a C program that calculates the age of a person in days.
My main problem is extracting the system time from ubuntu, which i will use to subtract from the persons date of birth.
Ive been trying this for week with no success.Urgent help will be appreciated.
