Booting PuppyLinux from CD - Problem, partly boots then stops

My System: The computer is a laptop. It is an Acer model: Travelmate 230 with Intel Celeron 1.70GHz processor, 512MB RAM, Intel 82845G integrate display controller, 80GB HDD.
Operating System: The computer normally runs Windows XP SP3 from the HDD.
The Exercise: I decided I wanted to run Puppylinux from a CD on this computer
Steps Taken:
I burnt Puppy Linux ISO to a CD with full verify.
I then booted the laptop from the CD. The boot process started well but had a problem part way through the boot.
The attachement is a photo of the Puppy Linux generated screens during the boot process. Also note my comments in the photo.

Any help would be appreciated.

Slack0 kernel might be too new or incompatible for your Acer. Might I make a suggestion. Download and Burn and boot

It worked for me better on one of my Netbooks than Slack0 did.

It is just a suggestion though. I could not read what you typed under your photos in uploaded screenshot. Picture was to small for my aged eyes.

I am ASSUMING you mean you did a md5sum check of downloaded Slack0 iso before burning at slowest speed onto cd also.
