Hi there. I have recently installed Linux Mint 18 - SARAH 64 bit. Same is for Home Desktop use with full access to company systems via RDP and MS Outlook 2016 email account loaded onto Fire Bird email.
Can someone please advise me as to what the best antivirus software is that I must install. Thank you.
Distribution: Currently: OpenMandriva. Previously: openSUSE, PCLinuxOS, CentOS, among others over the years.

I use Sophos Antivirus for Linux, it checks for both Windows as well as Linux viruses. It also has on-access scanning as well.
Like RandomTroll, I've never found anything either, your chances of getting a virus on desktop Linux is still pretty low, if however your talking about Android, that's a different story (because it's the most widely-used Linux).
I used to use AVG for Linux, not because I'm particularly concerned about viruses on Linux, but because I once promised myself always to have an AV on any computer I connect to the inner webs.
I've lately been testing COMODO. It seems to work nicely.
