maybe you have a bad windows iso, have you tried to download again or use a different one. It wouldn't be the first time for a bad download of an iso.

It sems too late now, but:
Does it have to be AutoCAD? You 100% sure? Or just AutoCAD compatible? The FOSS alternatives have come a long way (JOKO Engineering is a channel full of FreeCAD videos).

Format one of your two main drives as GPT.

I can do without your sarcastic comment thank you very much.

W10 needs either UEFI or UEFI + Legacy (CSM) boot, not Legacy (CSM).

Not intended to be sarcastic, btw. And thank you, it's now clear. Will try that.

And yes, it has to be Autocad, cuz she gets it through her school, and just needs a Windows box. She doesn't want to have any problems using a similar program. But thanks for the suggestion.
