Attention Gnome Gurus...

My apologies if you frequent the Mepis Lovers forums, as you may have seen this already. Posting here because thesse seem to be more difiicult questions than I thought:

Can you disable the always on top feature of the panels?

How would you remove the "Home" and "Computer" icons on the dekstop? They don't seem to want to visit old Uncle Trash Bin.

remove the "Home" and "Computer" icons on the dekstop
type gconf-editor in terminal
then under apps > nautilus > desktop unmark
