ATI Driver rpm install

I went to the ATI Homepage I chose to download the Linux Driver for a ATI Radeon 9600. Then a page opened up and I had to select my xfree86 version. Having done this, I downloaded the rpm package. It was all going fine, but when I was about to install the package, it said in the description "Display_driver_files_for_the_ATI_Radeon_8500,_9700,_Mobility_M9_and_the
FireGL_8700/8800,_E1,_Z1/X1_graphics_accelerators."

What the hell is this? Doesnt it support the 9600?

Has anyone made any experience with it? It would be very helpful!

That's weird. You sure you got the correct xfree86 version? You sure got the most recent ati drivers (3.2.8)???
