Amarok on slackware?

Hi,

I did a hdd installation of backtrack 2, which is based on slax. I tried to install Amarok from the source package, and it i followed all the steps. I didnt get any errors, but i dont know how to start it? typing "amarok" doesnt work. Did i do something wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Dennis

Ok, i redid the install using slapt-get --install amarok.
It show up on the start menu, and when i click on it i see the Amarok splash screen. But nothing happens after that! Does it keep a log somewhere? i think it maybe crashes...

Regards,

Dennis

Amarok likes to leave a "tray icon" in KDE...look for a small bluish circle on one of your panels, right click on it and click "restore"...that should bring up the main window.
