AMANDA backup - recv error: Connection reset by peer

Hi

When I do an amcheck, I get this

Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
WARNING: noname.com: selfcheck request failed: recv error: Connection reset by peer
Client check: 1 host checked in 0.022 seconds. 1 problem found.

I am using bsdtcp. I get an ack error if I switch the client to bsd authentication.
What should I do, how do I fix it?
I read that I should enter servers address to hosts file in /etc/ directory?

Here is the log in /var/log/messages:

Jun 25 16:01:49 pcs3-web nmbd[22592]: [2010/06/25 16:01:49, 0] nmbd/nmbd_namequery.c:query_name_response(109)

More Info:

I installed amanda-backup_client-3.1.0-2.rhel4.i386.rpm and it installed successfully
My OS is Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 6)

Cheers

Have you gone through this troubleshooting guide -- http://wiki.zmanda.com/index.php/Sel...request_failed ?

Do you find anything in the /tmp/amanda/ debug files on the client? or on the server? Their names include a time stamp, so you can try an amcheck and then look for debug files that match the time you tried. Those are going to be the most informative source of debug/logging information.
