Hi all!
I am quite new to Linux. After installing
SUSE 10.1 I wanted to get my videos running and updated my system with several
packman packages, among these a
new kernel. Now my
sound does no longer work. Before my sound worked fine. Now I have videos but no sound. After checking several forums and stuff I believe the problem has to do with a sound module. Apparently there are 2 ways of communication between module and kernel?
Shell command modinfo soundcore gives me this result:
Quote:
# modinfo soundcore
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.16.21-0.25-smp/kernel/sound/soundcore.ko
description: Core sound module
