adobe flash player 10


I cant install the adobe flash player update when I download it it says open with archive manager but it doesnt seem to do anything

From your distro image, I assume you're using fedora... Did you get an .rpm file? Where did you download it from?

i think im on a linpus lite os but not sure i downloaded the update from the adobe website using firefox

Ah, apparently Linpus is based on Fedora. I've dug out these instructions, do you want to try working through those? It sounds rather like you've already downloaded the file for the first part of that, though you'd want to check tell us if you have any problems, and good luck

linpus light is loosely based on a VERY VERY DEAD and UNSUPPORTED version of fedora " fedora 8"
one that is now 8 versions( and 4 YEARS ) OUT OF DATE !

basically using linpus is like using a toaster
the computer is an appliance and you DO NOT update the software on a toaster

i would install a real operating system .Something like " Linux Mint "

so if it is not on the linpus web site for update - you do not install it .
