ACL problem on openblocks600 - debian

Hello Group,

OS: Debian
Kernel: 2.6.29
Hardware: openblocks 600 (http://openblocks.plathome.com/products/600/)
fstab: /dev/sda1 / ext3 errors=remount-ro,acl 1 1
/lib/modules/2.6.29/modules.dep: /lib/modules/2.6.29/kernel/fs/nfs_common/nfs_acl.ko
package: acl 2.2.47-2, libacl1 2.2.47-2

I get the following error whenever I try mounting my root directory with the acl option.

LinuxServer:~# mount -o remount,acl /
EXT3 (no)acl options not supported

The debian help page shows how to check if ACL is enabled or not by doing:

-- http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/acl.htm --
#cat /boot/config-2.6.15.1-386 | grep _ACL

This should give the below results

CONFIG_EXT3_FS_POSIX_ACL=y
CONFIG_EXT2_FS_POSIX_ACL=y
CONFIG_XFS_POSIX_ACL=y
-- end --

I was not able to locate the configuration file on my box.

LinuxServer:/# pwd
/
LinuxServer:/# find -iname config-2.6*

I am suspecting some special tweaking is necessary on the debian OS that openblocks600 provides.

OS:
ftp://ftp.plathome.co.jp/pub/OBS600/...0119-00.tar.gz

Kernel:
ftp://ftp.plathome.co.jp/pub/OBS600/....initrd-cfboot

Kernel module:
ftp://ftp.plathome.co.jp/pub/OBS600/...inary/kern.tgz

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Yuguri
