Question Access contents of Linux drive from Windows????

Hi,

This is my first time here and i had this questions.

I used to host with a company where all the stuff was hosted on unix machines..I recently terminated my contract with them and asked them to send me my drive which had all the data.

Now the question is that i don't have any unix machines where i have linux installed. All my PC's have Windows operating system. IS it anyway possible for me to just see/change the content of the drive which i got from the hosting company by just connecting it to my Windows Operating Systems PC???

Please please help me

Thanks
Di

If it's formatted in ext2/ext3, you can view it with the explore2fs program. But it probably isn't.

If you have a FAT partition and you would like to take a look at Linux while doing it, get the Knoppix cd image in a mirror near you, burn it and set your bios to boot from cd-rom.This CD boots directly to memory, doesn't require any installation, is easy to use and has lots of interesting stuff
Beware that Linux can't write on NTFS partitions!

Or you can use explore2fs like aa said, but it's only for ext2/3 I think.

However, first I recommend that you ask them what filesystem they used and post it.
