About the script

The shell script is usually in plant text and put it on the system to run .

If I do not it in plant text , is there any way to convert it to unreadable format and still be run ?

thanks

you need to write it as plain text anyway, and there are tools, like shc to protect it, although it is not really efficient. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...script-828096/

Is it a complex script that cannot be found in web search?

What's the reason of protecting it?

Put it on a directory and don't allow access to anyone except yourself and the system of course.

Don't write a shell script, instead write a program which you compile to binary.
