Unhappy 4oD no longer work on Chrome

Dell 2400 Dimension 2GB ram OS Ubuntu 12.04

4oD no longer works in Chrome browser.

I have Adblock Plus disabled and flash control running.

4oD works OK on Firefox with Adblock Plus disabled.

Please could you advise why this is so and how I can make it work?

Just get the buffering 'circle' on start of movie and does not start running the movie.

Thanks for any help.

You could start by deleting all cookies. I've had similar problems with chrome because of cookies (wouldn't load facebook pages and so on). I need to delete them on a regular basis, otherwise some site will refuse to load. (options - scroll down to extra/advanced options/ go to cookies and delete them all)

If that doesn't work for you, you could simply try reinstalling chrome by deleting all files related to it (apt-get purge chrome/chromium - or whatever the name of the package is) and then apt-get install chrome. Of course, backup your bookmarks first if you've got any.

I've found firefox more stable from this point of view, but I don't want to say that one's better than the other.
