32-bit help,(ubuntu), tryed to follow a how-to but need more help


i followed this guide

but im kind of stuck,

how do i know if i did it succsesfull, if so how do i undo to start over agan or fix it?

if succsefully, how do i open chroot commandline? or how do i start synaptic if i installed that succesfully


thanks in advance


im still cind of a newbie but i believe im getting a hang of it, cuz i have no one to lern me stuff directly and have gotten so far.

What how-to are you following, and what exactly are you trying to accomplish.

Synaptic is generally installed by default on Ubuntu. It is in the menu, or you can start it from the command line using:

i was thinking about installing it as a 32-bit application...

by the way, i posted the link to the how to

but never mind, i installed i386 verson anyway, so im fine
