xpcrap

my linux box is up and running conected to the internet via my lan connection to my windows xp cablemodem connection via usb

no router involved internet is fine as is gaim but my problem is this

how do i see my xp machine and how does my xp machine see linux

oh web min is up and running as is samba allthough module config is incorrect

oh as for xp that has no network places when i click on it its empty
