im looking to tunnel these blocked ports through my server:
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074
the xbox 360 is connected to the laptop then the laptop has internet access. is there a way i can set putty for tunneling or some other app to allow these ports to enable xbox live to work?
You could establish a SSH tunnel that encompasses those ports and punches them through the firewall, but that would require you have an SSH server waiting on the outside that has unlimited access to the Internet.
You would also take a considerable hit in latency doing this, so I don't know how well it would work to actually play a game over.
I would also like to know how this is done. I find myself in the exact same situation. I do also have a shell which works perfectly with my PC. Np idea how to direct the xbox so help me out please =P.
