wvdial + huawei e226 +3g connects but still unable do use the internet

Hi, I've got a problem, I have a 3g internet that I want to use on my slackware 12.2. I installed wvdial and set it up, but whenever I try to connect using it I believe a connection is stabilished (because the blue light turns on on my modem (usually a sign of conection)) but when I try to use the net on firefox I am unable. Nothing works.
Does anyone have a solution?
Or another way to connect using my 3g modem?

There's a chance as well dns servers aren't being set if you really are getting a connection.

cat /etc/resolv.conf

This is what I got:

Code:
bash-3.1# ifconfig ppp0
ppp0	Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
	inet addr:189.65.224.123 P-t-P:10.64.64.64 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
	RX packets:12 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
	TX packets:13 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:3
	RX bytes:234 (234.0 B) TX bytes:177 (177.0 B)
and:

Code:
bash-3.1# cat /etc/resolv.conf
search home
sorry if I take a while to reply. It's because I have to switch back and forth between ubuntu and slackware because I have no internet on slack.

/etc/resolv.conf should contain

nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220

Above is sample for OpenDNS.
