wlan0 interface behaving irregularly
ifconfig wlan0 down is producing:
down: error fetching interface information: Device not found
but I had checked it before initiating the script with the command.
Then the script brings it back up with:
ifconfig wlan0 up and it issues:
up: error fetching interface information: Device not found
I interactively enter ifconfig and the wlan0 is up
The script is short and contains nothing that should effect the interface.
Any ideas?
Nevermind! It appears the adapter is either loose at one end or the other of the cable, it is kaput, or reboot?
