Wifi hotspot (hostapd and shorewall) - can't connect

Hello, all!

I'm trying to setup a wifi AP on Debian as per this guide: http://blog.mc-thias.org/?title=crea...&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 For me eth0 is the connected adapter with dhcp and wlan0 is the wireless interface.

All goes fine until I try to connect with one of my devices. It crashes at the IP address obtaining stage. hostapd with maximum logging (-dd) produces this output upon connection:
Code:
