Why my networkmanager in the notification area are disabled?
I'have kubuntu 14.04 lts. In the notification area the networkmanager icon are disabled.The network has always worked but at the next boot
but suddenly after working all night in the morning it was not working anymore.

The Network Manager CLI might be helpful here. To get started
Get overall NM control status. If necessary, enable using
General status (wired, wireless, wwan etc)
Network devices managed by NM
