What socks 5 proxy to install?

Hi,
I need to set up a socks 5 proxy server. But it's proving to be a lot harder than I first thought. To begin with, can you name some open source proxy servers out there? I'm using Ubuntu so a deb package would be nice but compiling from source is also an option.

thanx

Between your distro's repo, Freshmeat and Sourceforge you should find a lot of SOCKS proxy names: Antinat, Dante, Desproxy, Privoxy, hell even Delegate could do...
