what does value 0,1,2 mean for rp_filter

Hi i'm using ubuntu 12.04,
cannot find the info on rp_filter yet.

Q1: what does 0/1/2 mean for this value ?

Q2: now in my sysctl,
net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.conf.default.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.conf.lo.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.conf.eth0.rp_filter = 1
net.ipv4.conf.eth1.rp_filter = 1

will the value for eth0.rp_filter overwrites the one for all.rp_filter ?

Q3: where should i find the detailed info for these ?

Thanks a lot !

Take a look here.

(It's an online copy of ip-sysctl.txt, part of the Linux kernel documentation.)
