Unhappy VPN Question Win98->internet->Router->Linux VPN Server->Win2k Server

Does anyone have a good suggestion as to how to do this? Our bookeeper needs to access Simply Accounting files from her home office. These files live on the Win2k server at the office. The connection is ADSL at both ends. At the office end is a Linksys Gateway. I am thinking of doing a FreeSwan or StrongSwan VPN Server.

Any thoughts?

I forgot to mention that the user coming in on the VPN needs to authenticate against the Win2k server Active Directory.
