vlan

hi,
if the port switch where my host is connected is configured to work with vlan 100,vlan 200,vlan 300 and my ens33 in host is configured with ifcfg-ens33,ifcfg-ens33.200 and ifcfg-ens33.300 then my host is part of 3 vlans.correct?
give me an example when this configuration is better than the case when i have only ens33 and in order to reach vlan2 or vlan3 i need router.

?
why?
do you have a problem?
What do you want to solve (or achieve)?
What do you mean by better?
How do we know your infrastructure, your network (and network load), software and how can we give you a better example of that unknown setup?

What do you mean by "work with"?

What do you mean by "part of"? If connected to a trunk line, your host will also receive traffic from other VLANs, and it will receive VLAN traffic without ens33.200 and ens33.300.

I agree with pan64 that "better" is undefined.
