Very slow host resolving (Speedtouch?)

Hi All,
I am running mandrake 10 and have adsl connection through alcatel speedtouch. I used script from sourceforge.net and I was very happy as it worked well. However I reinstalled the internet connection and now I have problem as the webpages are loading very slow for example www.gooogle.com or bbc.co.uk will load for about 20 sec. It will say on the status bar "Resolving host www....". I don't uderstand why I have this problem. I have to say here that I tried to connect adsl router which was configured on windows, I tried to make new connection through network card to the router (with no luck but this is other issue). but I removed that conection and I created new one with speedtouch.
Is the configuration from the router that makes resolving pages loading long?
I tried different browsers (mozilla, firefox, konqueror) I must say that when I try to download someting the SPEED IS AS NORMAL.

Many Thanks

Rob

Fixed the problem

Ok I have sorted out this one. It was in /etc/resolv.conf. The first entry nameserver was the 10.0.02 probobaly from router. I removed it and everything is OK now.
