Vblade - aoe not working on eth1

Hi there, i have a question regarding vblade as a san server.

So what i have is a SL6 system evrything working the problem is that vblade does not start on eth1 or eth0. If i run aoe-start it does not show anything, however if i run vblade (i.e. vblade 0 1 lo /file/") it works. Has anyone seen something like that before.

Why would vblade b ok on the loopback but not on eth1 or 0

What happens if you run vblade 0 1 <interface_name> <file>? Do you get an error message?

Are you sure your network device is actually called eth0 or eth1? What does ifconfig -a report?

Nope no erroe message just the standard output of the type of

It is eth1 which is used as a part of an open vpn bridge but before you ask i tried running it on the bridge and it has the same effect
