Question Use Advanced Server to authenticate

I have a small lab of computers running RedHat 8.0 and I want to authenticate users using an existing Windows Advanced Server domain controller. The advanced server is also connected to a SMB server which works as a file server. How can I do that?

smb.conf:

security = domain
password server = {windows server}

see man smb.conf for more details.
