I had installed redhat 9 for the internet connection sharing, we had one Dlink 502T adsl router and it having usb & lan port also as there is no pci slot in my pc so i connected the dsl 502T via usb to my linux pc.
The Redhat 9 detected the adsl router and it is configured using kudzu but i cannot see in ifconfig as ppp0 or anything else so i want to ask you how to configure this adsl connection to my linux pc.I can see the adsl router by using this command.
Can you post the output of the following commands?
Code:
lsusb
ifconfig -a
tail /var/log/messages
Also, since you are running Red Hat, you have the ability to call them up for support, since the subscriptions are there for your support. Just an FYI, and no harsh feelings about that, I just didn't know if you knew that or not.

Owww, my eyes! Can you please edit your post and use code tags? That would be greatly appreciated!
Besides that though, could you also post the output of lsmod? I'm sorry I forgot to mention that before, but seeing multiple interfaces, I want to put a driver to an interface, etc, so I can try to determine which is what.
