Is there a firewall running which may be blocking the ftp port?

nmap pc1
nmap pc2

Make sure port 21 is open.

vsftpd: active and passive mode

Hello,
I start my server running Red Hat 9.0 but I have some problems with some user during connection.

I use WS-FTP and WindowsXp and I can upload and download commands.
The same if I use MS-Dos prompt and FTP command.
The same if I use Mac and Terminal but I must wait some minutes before use LS command into my server. Then I can do upload and download (put/get command).

When I use Mac with Fetch I can't connect to my server, some error during connect occour.

Test in the top always start to the same Network for connecting to remote server in a different Network and ISP.

Some of my friend try to SmartFTP using active and passive mode but they can use LS because the server say: Entering Passive Mode (x,x,x,x,50,201)

One of my friends using CuteFtp setting like No Passive can connect, but if he use CuteFtp like Passive don't work.

The server load correctly my vsftpd.conf and this file work into another server but I don't understand because he don't work like passive and why user CuteFtp don't work in passive also active

You can help me please?
