Traffic shaping for remote server devices

I have a high speed connection in my client application, but it connects with several server devices that have a low speed connection for each of them (each server as a GPRS modem).
I want to be able to send high priority requests to the server devices, even if there are low priority traffic going on for this device.
I know how can I do it using traffic shaping if I have only one server device (I use the remote link characteristics to parametrize the shaping). When there are several devices, shall I create two classes for each remote server device in my client node (one for low priority and other for high priority messages)? Since the limitation is at the remote servers, and the limit is for each server, I can't use only a limit based on the local interface, so I have to take into account the destination node in the traffic shaping.
Is there a better way to do this? If this is the best way to do it, how many classes can I have at maximum?

Thanks!

Fernando
