Tcp rst

Hi All,

In my test bed I am replaying already captured HTTP traffic with the help of a tool called tcpreplay. This tool does not work like real Server - Client communication.

Since the traffic i am replaying is HTTP, the PC receiving this traffic, sends TCP-RST Packets. Is there any way to avoid the RST packets being sent.

Any help is appreciable.

shut down the nic that is sending them? If a machine is being replayed traffic it doesn't like, it's going to complain. You could use iptables rules to drop any traffic matching the replay as well, but it all depends what you want to acheive as to what measures are appropriate.
