tables in iproute

Can someone tell me what the format is and which file I should edit to add two separate routing tables?

I have an apache box where I want eth0 and eth1 to service two separate subnets independently of each other. I tried using this FAQ below but whenever I add a table it says its invalid. I assume I have to set the table first in the file but do not know the format of it?

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Adv-Routin...ple-links.html

Pls help. thx

Hi,
Are you looking to have your web server responding to web request on 2 different networks ?
If so, you don't need 2 routing tables, just configuring the 2 interfaces should be enough.
The link you refered to is made so as to route traffic between 2 ISP, which is not the same thing.
