sync Linux clock to windows 2003 AD

How do I sync linux, FC5, clock to Win 2003 AD?
I tried to change the /etc/ntp.conf and added the following line:
server 192.168.1.6 << this is my Win 2003 AD IP
then i restarted the service " /sbin/service ntpd restart"

I intentionally applied the wrong date on the linux machine with "date" command to be totally the wrong date and time to test if the Linux machine would sync its clock with the win 2003 AD but it didn't

I'm betting this is a Windows problem. I remember there being a couple of registry changes that you can set, one that will respond to requests and one that will turn it into a client. Might wanna look into that.
