SuSE NFS Transfer, Crash

Hi, I currently am running a Debian box as an NFS Server, 2 SuSE 9.1 Pro desktops and 1 SuSE 9.0 Pro Desktop. Whenever I try to transfer large amounts of data (normally over 1 GB) to the server, the SuSE desktop crashes. If I set up a temporary NFS Server on the SuSE box and connect to it using my Debian box and transfer the files that way, neither crashes.

I do not believe this is a problem with the Debian box or setup as it never crashes, it just runs non-stop.

Also, as a sidenote, if anyone could direct me to a page that shows End of Life schedules for SuSE's products, it would be greatly appreciated.

Lol, another sidenote. when Debian Sarge is released as their stable distro, do I switch the 3 listings in my /etc/apt/sources.list from testing to stable to keep updating my Sarge server. Also, if I wanted to, could I leave it as testing and do a apt-get dist-upgrade to upgrade to sid? (I don't want to update to sid, just wondering how it works).

What versions of NFS are you using on the server and client?

SuSE by default comes with NFS-utils 1.0.6. I'm not sure how to tell on a Debian machine which version I have/
