SUSE 9.0 Proxy User name

I'm evaluating SUSE 9 Pro on my corporate network and I'm attempting to setup my proxy server settings.

The Proxy user name field in YaST will not let me use a required character (@) in actual name. Is there anyway around this or is the field limited to certain character sets?
