Static routes file error message

I am running Fedora Core 1 on my laptop, and I have a wireless lan set up in my apartment. My ISP is earthlink.

When I begin the wireless log-on process, using Network Control Device, I get an error menu that says "Static routes file earthlink is invalid." The menu includes an OK option. I click on it, and connect uneventfully. However, the error menu is a nuisance. I'd like to get rid of it.
