sssh what

I have a machine running RHlinux7. The problem is that i cannot ssh into it from remote.
I did: #service sshd start, #service network restart, then when i sshd onto itself : it worked-I coudl sshd
locally. However, when sshd from other computers.It said conection refused.
I checked: # vi /etc/hosts.allow and hosts.deny-->nothing suspicious.
in.telnetd:ALL in /etc/hosts.allow and ALL:none in hosts.deny
I nmap and found it did not allowed nmap from other computers whereas lcoal nmap was possible.
I am quite confused. Pls. do hlp me.

sssh what

Hello,

Can you ping the ssh computer from other one in the network ?
Maybe you ssh problem is firewall running on the server or authentication by key in place of user/password.

thanks. certainly I can ping the sshd computer. How do I find if key is working in place of user/passwd in sshd. and which public key (from where/folder) should I use / take to remote computers? and is there any easy way of removing that entry from firewall except touching the iptable?
